@_cmd8@Ibelick Easier to spot inconsistencies. Also a nice way to preview global changes such as different fonts, color paletters, typographic scale, etc
Building the tool I always wanted
- bulk export TikTok favs
- dl the vids via self-hosted @justusecobalt instance
- do audio transcription, extract frames and perform OCR
- create summaries with deepseek-flash of the transcription and OCR text
- categorize with @typesafeai Jev
I still spend a LOT of time figuring out the right abstractions and interfaces (user and programming).
I recently built two components for shadcn/react. Each took weeks of UX research, experimentation, and iteration to get right.
AI hasn't accelerated this part yet, at least for me.
What it has done though, is help me fail faster. I can now go through many more failures before a component or code is ready.
@jamesacowling Also still totally worth using code generation tools with agents for stuff like:
- generate code from SQL queries via sqlc
- generate client libs from OpenAPI schemas
@Sagar_Trivedi@thdxr Hey I also used agent-sandbox to build something for myself, turned out really nice.
I have a simple web app where you select a GitHub repo and it will provision the Sandbox resources dynamically with the cloned repo, OpenCode Web and a Vite dev server. Was super fun to build
