American League MVP is Bernie Williams!

Williams took 13 of the 16 1st place votes to run away with the vote.

He batted .363 49 165 1.141 & led the league in hitting, OBP, SLG, OPS & base hits.

The National League Cy Young is again Greg Maddux, edging out teammate Tom Glavine by 2 points. Maddux received 9 first place votes to 7 for Glavine. They were both either 1 or 2 on every ballot.

Maddux was 24-4 with a 2.23 ERA, 0.88 WHIP & 227 k's on the season.

Bonds had a huge first half before a somewhat mediocre 2nd half. Nonetheless, he batted .354 41 151 1.151 with 200 hits on the strength of that first half.
