Cotswolds Single Malt Peated Cask has notes of sweet malt, light smoke, vanilla, orchard fruit, and a light oakiness, but everything feels fairly straightforward and one dimensional. There’s nothing special, and I found it pretty basic and came away unimpressed.

Signatory Macallan 14yr has notes of dried fruit, toffee, oak, baking spice, and a touch of chocolate, with plenty of sherry influence throughout. It’s an enjoyable enough whisky, but for me it never rises above being a decent pour and doesn’t leave much of a lasting impression.

Glen Ord 8yr 1998–2006 Signatory has notes of malt, cereal grain, light fruit, vanilla, and a touch of oak, but it never really develops much beyond that. It’s a perfectly drinkable whisky, but overall I found it pretty average and not especially memorable.

Marlowe’s Artisanal Ales - The Gilded Hand aged in Wild Turkey barrels for 24 months and then conditioned on Roasted Hazelnuts and New Caledonian Vanilla beans. Chocolaty stout. I didn’t like it!

El Dorado 25yr is rich, decadent, & beautifully layered with notes of dark caramel, toffee, tropical fruit, molasses, oak, and warming spice, all wrapped up in a smooth, luxurious texture. I absolutely love this rum, it’s an excellent bottle and definitely sits in my top 10 rums.

Royal Brackla 9yr. This is an excellent whisky that I absolutely love, SCN once again showing off those unbeatable cask selection skills. Royal Brackla is already one of my favorite distilleries and SCN is my favorite IB so this was always going to be an excellent combination.
