Point is he’s not free. Rule V is highly unsuccessful, teams have to keep those players in the big leagues. Thats not a viable option for most. And to be in the minor leagues and then the major leagues that long and unable to leave contractually is problematic. That is too long to control a player. Yes, future hall of famers like Soto and Harper don’t have this issue, they are the 1%ers, a major shift in CBA policy is not with them in mind, it’s consideration of the masses that matters, the other 99%.
@mlb_agent show me one player a team has controlled for 14 years that didn’t sign a contract extension! You are wrong. Is it on purpose or do you just not understand how it works
@Tugwakik It’s a conversation of how many potential years of control an organization can have of a player once they draft him or sign him as an amateur FA. An agent said 14, this person said that was a lie. This screenshot is an example of how that can happen.

-It was tough leaving Holmes' SL off this list for me.
-Fuentes' FB is dominant, but his SL was absurdly good.
-I'm convinced Bryce Harper checks under his bed at night to make sure Chris Sale's slider isn't there.
We’ve got to have more ABS challenges available in game. Seeing a player not challenge when he feels strongly about a missed call because his team only has one left, and it’s strategic to save it for later in the game, only reinforces its value, we shouldn’t limit it.
