That’s right it’s a 6 month season and for 5 of them of it was not only NOT a top 10 offense but bottom 10
That isn’t cherry picking just statistics.
94 wins, 105 wins, 65 wins my sisters a nun.
It doesn’t change the lack of offense being what ended the season, again.
@Wille_3225 I proved that wRC+ is a better evaluation than total runs scored because outlier months do not provide false positives. It’s okay you don’t understand don’t feel embarrassed.
The Braves were 1st in runs scored on 4/30/26 and 4th in wRC+
The Braves were 21st in runs scored after 4/30/26 and 26th in wRC+
On the year 8th in Runs and 20th in wRC+
Weighted value equalizes outliers.
Runs scored isn’t a good measure because it’s volatile.
When the Braves didn't add a frontline starter at the deadline, we questioned who the Game 2 starter would be. The greater concern should have been will the rotation be strong enough to ensure Lee, Fuentes and Iglesias (maybe Suarez) are still strong once the postseason arrives.
Alex Anthopoulos was asked about only adding Tyler Mahle….
He condescendingly deflected the question claiming- “it didn’t make any sense.”
I thought it made perfect sense, what do you guys think?
