As of 3:30 PM, I-5 remains CLOSED in both directions between Vandergrift Blvd. and Basilone Rd.

🔥 The fire north of Las Pulgas is mostly out. Caltrans & CalFire crews are clearing flame retardant from the roadway due to vehicle hazards.
