@ReviewsPossum I highly doubt they looked like that. Romans just like Greeks painted them hyper realistic. They don't look blank or stupid colors like that. Is likely that's all the paint that survived on the surface for them to reconstruct but there were more colors that are gone.
@CinemaCrimes I thought was called Planet of the Vampires. By Mario Bava, right? Anyway I have seen it and is a great movie! Highly underrated. Is quite similar to Alien. In fact I think is one of the main sources of inspiration for Alien along with It Terror from Beyond Space from the 50s.
@TheBasicExpert1 Ungoliant represents lust or greed and its child Shelob envy. Sauron/Melkor are pride. Balrog is wrath. Golum is greed. While never official confirmed Tolkien himself said that the connection is there just not obivious.
@TheBasicExpert1 JRR Tolkien was a devout Catholic. He took Christian themes and split them up in different places. Jesus is Gandalf (resurrection, prophet), Frodo (bears the sin of the world, self sacrifice) and Aragon (son of Isildur, the ruler, controls the dead). Ring represents original sin.
