Jack Kennedy is only about 40 minutes from fellow Kerryman Tom Cooper and both combine to win the Listed feature at @thurlesraces.
Not bad for the jockey's first ride for the trainer!
Amen Kate was bred by former Irish International footballer @KevinDoyle1983, who purchased her dam Augusta Kate at the 2018 #TattsIreNNH Sale.
Owned by @MooneyCiaran and John Ryan, the pair also own #DerbySale grad Celestial Tune who was seen winning at Cheltenham last month.
Amen Kate claims Listed honours in the Billy Harney Memorial Irish EBF Boreen Belle Mares Novice Hurdle at Thurles.
The Flemensfirth mare was bred by Kevin Doyle out of Grade 1 heroine Augusta Kate and she sold to Bryan Cooper for €75,000 at the 2023 Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale.
Listed success for the superbly bred Amen Kate in the Boreen Belle at Thurles.
A daughter of G1 winner Augusta Kate, she was adding to her bumper and maiden hurdle wins. She’s a grad of the 2023 #DerbySale where @92bryan92 purchased her from Peter Nolan
