Allow me to elaborate… if your goaltender getting injured derails your season, your team/roster you have built is trash.

How do you prevent that? Don’t build around your goaltender and trust your pipeline. Something they should’ve done after trading Trouba to start a rebuild.

Plus Rangers beats in several publications including g the NY Post and The Athletic wrote extensively about his struggles and what he went through.

Furthermore, you’re comparing a kid who was the consensus 1OA in his draft class for 2 years before he even got drafted, made a stacked Canadian WJC U20 team at 16 years and was much closer to a generational prospect to someone who wasn’t the consensus 1OA, got drafted 2nd overall and wasn’t regarded with that type of fanfare.

You should probably think those comparisons though before making them.
