@KzWhoops@PacersPostUp Not really, they weren’t this team that made the playoffs every year or anything like that.. J Dub and Chet were younger players, I dunno.. they had a bit more experience but weren’t a seasoned team
I'm excited to announce that I've accepted a position with Fanatics as the Community Manager for the New York Region.
Working in sports has been a lifelong dream of mine, and it's surreal to finally say that dream has become a reality.
While talking with my mom recently, she reminded me of something that stuck with me.
As someone who always encouraged more conventional paths, she said, "You've been building your brand for years, and this is a testament to believing in yourself."
That meant a lot.
This opportunity doesn't happen without the support of so many people.
Thank you to everyone who has watched my content, shared my ideas, joined a Space, listened to a podcast, supported a song, or engaged with an opinion along the way.
Every bit of support helped get me here.
A huge thank you to everyone at Fanatics who interviewed me, took the time to get to know me, and believed in what I can bring to this role. It feels great to have my skill set recognized..
I'm ready to get to work.
This week is going to be huge, so stay tuned. There are some exciting announcements coming soon.
In this role, I'll be building fan-led councils for New York sports teams: Yankees, Mets, Knicks, Nets, Liberty, Giants, Jets, Rangers, Islanders, Devils, Red Bulls, and NYCFC.
The fans are the experts. My job is to help bring your voice to the table so teams can better understand and represent the culture, passion, and perspective of their most dedicated supporters.
I'll also be helping organize tentpole events for each team, and I'm incredibly excited about what's possible there, as well as being involved with Fanatics Fest.
Right now, I'm actively building councils for every New York team. If you're interested in getting involved, please fill out the application linked in the comments.
Let's build something special together.
The NBA so badly wants Wembanyama to be the story that they allowed an absolute mugging of Brunson, saddled Knicks stars with fouls, called back-to-back ridiculous fouls on the guy who was killing Wemby allowing VW to get game traction, didn't allow the Knicks a SINGLE second half FT until the Knicks forced their hands on an obvious foul call vs Anunoby by challenging with 2 mins left, and it still all failed.
@czarcantwell@jerryferrara Nah, we are in a great mood, got an extra pep in your step and all… with that being said, we can still call out the bullshit lol.. we can do multiple things @ once my guy
@czarcantwell@jerryferrara So, regardless of outcome, when you see bullshit you don’t call it out? It’s not whining but what the league tried to do last night was disgusting to see and they should be called out by everyone
