The box and it's mysteries are obviously an unexpected twist in the kids lives, but also the fact of them coming together as friends can also be seen as unexpected because they are all so different.

This is important because at this point of the story stubby is believed to be the 1# killer, but we here from Maddie that she thinks that he is innocent -->

Everyone is fighting for what they think is the truth and what is right. Even though some characters know what is right, they need to speak about it.

The truth of the story is never truly revealed, but everyone is fighting for what they think the truth is. #smsreadandtweet

This quote means that if in times of conflict, you just stand around and watch, that you are doing no good to the situation. This quote is an exact example of what this book is about.

@MrsThorsenSMS @SchwabSMS @stratford_IC The conflict between Guzzo and Quinn may be resolved in physical actions rather than sympathy. They may even get into a fight because of their opinions on the situation of Rashad. They might fight and then forgive each other after it.

He takes good care of his family and makes his family proud. Rashad states that even though he doesnt like his school he does it for his dad.#smsreadandtweet

This shows the reader that Quinn doesn't take responsibility for his actions. This type of characterization is speech. #smsreadandtweet

Also Quinn on pg. 23 says himself "I need to go get my buzz on with Guzzo and Dwyer". This shows the reader that Rashad knows to not go out doing bad things with the majority of his town.
