You got to find out everything about the forgetting, how the people at Canaan got there, and what there mission was. The only this that was left open ended was the ship being found at the end and what happened with the signal.

@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC @SchwabSMS I would ask Nadia why she started to go over the wall and when she first thought of it. Going over the wall is a very symbolic scene in the book and it would be interesting to know when that rebel "awoke" in her.

Not only on page 106 is it shown that there mother needs extra help, but later Liliya asks Nadia "if you can get mother over the wall" So its obvious that you need her, so why kick her out.

@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC @SchwabSMS this quote really shows how the town of Canaan acts. Its in a state of worry because the forgetting is coming, and then there are the people that don't care. People who feel like there is no reason to panic or that they are already lost.

This is Nadia's mind when she is walking home. observing the town.

@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC @SchwabSMS I think something good to change in the story is that birds and animals would come over the wall into Canaan, so people would be more eager to leave. If this happens then Nadia would fit in better.

@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC @SchwabSMS I think Nadia would be the person to choose one of the fruits or vegetables in the gas station. When Liliya is looking through Nadia's bag on page 27 she finds apples, meaning probably because she is stuck in Canaan she would choose something she knows.

@MrsThorsenSMS @stratford_IC @SchwabSMS The relationship between Nadia and Liliya is going to be a very important negative, with both of them hating each other. Liliya is going to be the main antagonist, or problem for the main character.
