I think I can say I once enjoyed photo guidelines for clubs playing in EHF competitions (CL mostly).

I'm not naive about the fact that this Esbjerg vs Odense (33-25) game today was a season opener (in a loose way).

But if the challenge for Odense was glueing their many options together and peaking at the right time, well, it still will be.

I have arrived in Randers ahead of tomorrow's handball. I enjoyed my ~10 hours of travelling today (I'm not being ironic).

Thankfully, photography isn't something I'm pursuing, but I haven't seen as many cobbles since I was in Edinburgh in 2023.

For this trip, I get to add Stansted to Heathrow and Gatwick as London-branded airports I've been through.

But it's literally Liverpool Street ➡️ Stansted ➡️ Aarhus ➡️ Randers on Saturday, with the handball on Sunday, swiftly followed by the return journey on Monday.

Productive day so far: I've bought a ticket for the Danish Super Cup event on 23 August.

I've actually been to the Community Shield here (⚽️), so I'm fine with the season-starter aspect.

It's two years since the first day of the women's handball competition at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Time flies, I suppose.

I thought about LA 2028 during the ⚽️ World Cup. 5pm to 6:30am (🇬🇧 time) days to watch the full handball schedule live should be... no problem! 😬

The M20 EHF EURO 2026, won by Hungary, definitely continued the high-scoring trend in the sport.

There's probably a long list of factors that could influence this over time (rules, tactics, teams, formats, player development etc).

Sweden will face Hungary in the M20 EHF EURO 2026 final on Sunday.

Sweden, Denmark and Hungary were the medallists at the M18 EHF EURO 2024.

If Denmark beat Slovenia for bronze, the same nations will finish with medals – though the order evidently can't be identical.

I was more disappointed by Great Britain losing the *Olympic men's curling final in February than England losing a football match against Argentina tonight.

*I waited until the following morning to watch Odense 🆚 FTC, so I'm not being as ironic as you might think.
