Another squadron gets out on their first roadmarch of the year, this time @93sqn with the help of staff from @TetburyATC.
A lovely 9km route along the Two Tunnels Greenway.
Today we pause all those who fought for us in conflicts around the world. We also cast a thought for the brave men and women who made up 93 squadron during WW1 and WW2. They shall not be forgotten. Lest we forget.
We were really lucky to have a talk from @OliviaSmithHist tonight. She spoke to the cadets about her career to date and women in the First World War. Thanks Olivia for a very interesting talk!
On Monday cadets from the squadron were very lucky to have a virtual chat from Sgt Harry Tangye @DC_ARVSgt of Devon and Cornwall Police. He was very informative about his role and all cadets really enjoyed it! Thanks again SGT!
Yesterday we entered 3 teams into the Dursley challenge. With out nco team winning the overall trophy! Some of our younger cadets had a great first experience of map reading and hiking.
The squadron is looking for outside speakers to come and give interest talks to the cadets. If you are interested in doing this please email [email protected]
Last night we were very lucky to have @EmilyDiamond11 come and talk to the cadets! The cadets spent a lot of time trying to pass of the medals as theirs! Thank you very much for coming down Emily!
