CC22 Iowa GameDay Anthem 🖤💛 Cinematic Edition
🖤💛 *Nothing Special to See Here… Yeah, Right!*
Caitlin Clark comes home. The Caitlin 1 makes its debut. ESPN College GameDay comes to Iowa City. And Hawkeye Nation shows the world what makes Iowa special.
From black-and-gold pride and the excitement of GameDay to the unforgettable Iowa Wave at Kinnick Stadium, this original CC22 Iowa GameDay Anthem celebrates more than basketball, football, or a pair of shoes.
It's about where you come from, the people who lift you up, and the little things that turn out to be the biggest things of all.
*Why the Cinematic Edition?*
After making the original Short, I came across the article “Dear WNBA: Caitlin Clark Would Never Say This, So We Will.” Reading it and the heartfelt letters from fans inspired me to make something more.
Instead of writing another letter, I decided to make mine a song and a video.
A letter to Iowa. To Hawkeye Nation. To the kids waving from the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. And to everyone who makes this place special.
*Some things you carry. Some things you keep.*
Thank you to the writers and community behind that article for the inspiration.
And most of all...
*THANK YOU, Caitlin Clark & IOWA . 🖤💛*

Families gathered at the Nova music festival memorial at 6:29 a.m., the time the assault began. It was the first anniversary observed since all remaining hostages, living and deceased, were returned.
Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack across Ukraine, killing at least 28 people and injuring nearly 100. In Pryluky, a strike on an apartment building killed 20 people, including five children.

Two commercial ships were struck by drones in Bulgaria’s exclusive economic zone in the Black Sea. One sank with crew members missing, while the other caught fire. Eighteen people were evacuated, including two who were seriously injured. Authorities said the source of the attacks remained under investigation.
Tropical Storm Isaias rapidly strengthened in the Gulf of Mexico and was forecast to become the Atlantic season’s first hurricane before approaching the northern Gulf Coast. Forecasters warned it could become a major hurricane before landfall.
The International Monetary Fund warned that oil prices near $100 a barrel could worsen public debt, increase inflation and slow global economic growth. The organization also cautioned that the artificial intelligence investment boom could produce financial vulnerabilities if expectations outrun results.
A Reuters and Ipsos poll found that 84% of Americans believe artificial intelligence threatens workers, while 62% fear it could eventually spiral beyond human control. Support for stronger regulation crossed party lines, and 56% favored restrictions on the construction of new data centers.
The machines may spiral out of control. Congress continues to explore the concept of guardrails.
Henri Kagan and Kenso Soai won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for pioneering methods that control the mirror-image structure of molecules. Their work in asymmetric synthesis helped transform the production of medicines, agricultural chemicals and other compounds.
Chemistry learned how to choose the correct mirror image. Politics remains committed to trial and error.
On this day in 1913, Henry Ford introduced the moving assembly line at his Highland Park plant, dramatically reducing the time required to build an automobile and transforming industrial production.
That was one day on Earth.
See you tomorrow. Same planet. The molecules found symmetry. The headlines did not. 🌎
Today on Earth, Vice President JD Vance said Iran must meaningfully reduce nuclear enrichment before the seven-month war can end. He said Washington is speaking with Iran’s president and foreign minister but remains unsure who holds final authority. President Trump said nobody knows who is running Iran.
Saudi authorities said Houthi attacks on the airports in Jazan and Najran injured three people. Saudi-backed Yemeni forces also advanced around the Bab el-Mandeb Strait after retaking territory from the Iran-backed rebels.
Ukraine launched one of the war’s largest drone attacks against Moscow and its surrounding region. Moscow’s mayor said more than 650 drones targeted the capital. Regional officials reported two deaths, seven injuries and damage to dozens of homes. Russian bloggers said a major fuel depot was struck, but authorities had not confirmed it.
More than 250,000 students, teachers and parents marched across France over school funding, staff shortages and deteriorating facilities. Police used tear gas and water cannons, and 488 people were arrested.
The protest over French school funding came complete with Palestinian flags. Every cause now arrives with the same accessories.
The U.S. military suspended operations in Okinawa for 48 hours and restricted troops from leaving their bases after a Marine was arrested on suspicion of killing a local woman and stealing her belongings.
Satellite images reviewed by Reuters showed eight light attack aircraft and more than two dozen military vehicles at a new China-Laos facility. Analysts said the expanding airfield could become China’s first fully operational military base in Southeast Asia.

The World Bank raised its 2026 growth forecast for Sub-Saharan Africa to 4.3% but warned that living standards were not rising as quickly and roughly half the region’s countries were either in default or struggling with debt.
The Justice Department instructed employees to use “super intelligence” instead of “artificial intelligence” in most official contexts, including court proceedings.
The intelligence remains artificial. The terminology is now mandatory.
Belgian-American physicist Francis Halzen won the Nobel Prize in Physics for pioneering the detection of high-energy neutrinos known as ghost particles. His IceCube Observatory uses more than 5,000 sensors buried in Antarctic ice to detect particles from distant galaxies.
Paramount Skydance completed its $110 billion takeover of Warner Bros. Discovery, placing CBS, CNN, HBO Max, Paramount+, Warner Bros. and DC Studios under one company carrying approximately $80 billion in debt.
Hollywood consolidated the competition. The subscriptions remain separate for now.
The death of televangelist Jim Bakker was reported today. He died Monday at 86 after building a multimillion-dollar Christian television empire that collapsed amid sex and financial scandals, a fraud conviction and imprisonment.
On this day in 1927, The Jazz Singer premiered in New York. Its synchronized music and dialogue helped launch talking motion pictures and accelerate the end of silent cinema.
That was one day on Earth.
See you tomorrow. Same planet. The ghost particles are elusive. The headlines are not. 🌎
1.8 MILLION DNA SAMPLES. ZERO BACKLOG.
When we took over, the FBI Lab was buried under 1.8 million federally collected DNA samples — with roughly 75,000 more coming in every month.
We surged personnel, invested roughly $50 million in upgrades, streamlined the entire pipeline, and put advanced technology and Rapid DNA to work.
Result:
1.8 MILLION samples processed.
Backlog ELIMINATED.
Thousands of investigations already aided.
First time in FBI history.
That means more DNA profiles connecting criminals to evidence, more cases getting solved, and safer streets for American families.
We said we were going to bring results back to the FBI.

@KinnickNorth23 It has been a pleasure following your Fever/Caitlin commentary and will continue to read should some Fever front office much needed remedy take place. I've got to also turn my attention to my WVU football. Best of luck to Iowa and WVU!
Caitlin Clark is "the old school Nike" for staying out of politics, and is following the "republicans buy sneakers too" path.
@ClayTravis delves into the deeper story behind A'ja Wilson's fan interaction with a Fever fan.
Never before had a Department of Justice charged a presidential candidate with a crime during an election.
It was a disgusting abuse of power
Jack Smith should be in jail
@vivvis213@dom_lucre@grok As an Independent, this comes as no surprise! In today's political climate, if Diogenese went out to find an "honest man" among the politicians, his lamp would likely be stolen.
I'm sickened by this news that my journalistic communications were obtained as part of Jack Smith's egregious misconduct.
Proud to have been one of the only journalists who debunked his agency's role in perpetrating the Russia collusion lie against the American people.
No amount of censorship or spying will prevent @FDRLST from continuing our fearless investigative journalism.
