Core Logic Module
Rather than MoP, it's more like the RPL-PX SoM design last seen on ASUS. It comes with smartphone's 496-ball chips not the custom 563-ball on LNL likely for better supply.
Before DRAM prices skyrocketed, we set out to enable Wildcat Lake to use more affordable memory from mobile phones. The effort paid off, providing our ecosystem partners with more choice, lower cost, and quicker time to market for Intel Core Series 3 laptops.
@TheEcomNomad Maybe for 48V, but Lenovo has done 36V on Thinkpad last year. My guess would be the 2 in 1 form factor can’t handle the tdp available with 180W power supply, otherwise 140W is simply not enough for 20 core and 6144 cuda. We’ll have to see if the most capable Yoga Pro 9n gets 36V.
Intel's DG2-512 is also tsmc 6nm and the die size is 406mm², scaling down cores according to size 4096*312/406=3147 would make A580 comparable. In that case 7G100's debut is not bad.

Mechrevo’s 18” 12GB version is actually cheaper than 8GB version, 11299rmb≈1650usd vs 11499rmb≈1680usd.
BTW this 3GB die still runs at 24Gbps.

Confirmed for Strix Scar 2026, together with thicker and heavier body allows higher power. Screen upgrades to 4K and it also gets csodimm out of the box.
It's already available on taobao, the 520W part seems to be removed on this retail version. So maybe this is just for a refresh of Strix Scar with 290HX Plus.
