Some things around us are slowly being cleared away, but some responsibilities remain, day after day. ❤️🐾

Today, while municipal workers were clearing the neighboring plot of the damaged cars left there throughout the war, I went out to put food down for the dogs, just as I do every day.

The scene around us was a reminder of how much this place has been through. Yet, beside all that damage and change, these dogs still recognize us, come to our gate, and wait for the familiar care they have come to trust.

Their lives do not pause while the world around them tries to recover. They still need food, clean water, and care — including the five little puppies recently born to one of Luka’s daughters.

We cannot repair everything that the war has damaged, but we can keep caring for the lives that depend on us. That is what we are trying to do, one day at a time.

Thank you to everyone who continues to stand beside us. Your support helps turn this daily promise into something we can keep, even when circumstances are difficult.
