UPDATE: no resolution yet and received the same generic response from @united on Twitter too.
Highly unprofessional and bad service where they are not honoring to what was promised. I still have my flight cancelled and the new booking is even more expensive.
@united I'm extremely disappointed with the service received. Wanted to reschedule flight and was told that I would get 226.4k miles back if I canceled. However, I only received 70k miles and flight is canceled. I spent over 5 hours with customer service and got no resolution.
@united, all your agents provided were generic responses and kept suggesting I contact them again. I refuse to waste more time explaining the situation.
I demand a complete refund of the promised 226.4k miles and for you to maintain good service for loyal members
@united, please review my chat logs where I confirmed multiple times with your agent about the 226.4k miles refund. They assured me, but now I'm not being honored. This is unacceptable. #UnitedAirlines
