Those teachers with 28 students aren't going to buy their students the supplies needed for my class from their $750 and rightfully so... But how will I get supplies?

@KirkLubimov This happened to a friend of mine, but hers was 63,000$ they wanted back. It took her half a year to get it settled. She had to go Everywhere her kids had been and get letters to prove the kids were hers. Who else had them all these years?!?

@guy_jung13 I only know because I was sent an article and only because my parents are currently there on vacation. Now I wish I could get them on a flight home. I doubt this is going to get any better.

It's easy enough not to select those classes, but I'd hate for end of year gr12 to arrive and the student finds out they can't graduate because they don't have the online requirements.

We don't have a cottage or camper or boat. We don't get subsidies or GST or CCB. We have been cutting down on groceries too, no extras

@jjlefam @1StarAtaTyme It's true, but only if the student comes back after the deadline, otherwise they write once back. If a student is exempt because they are unable to write it (special needs, etc), it's a zero and if a student is opted out of it, it's also a zero. It's a ridiculous system.

@Sflecce @ACEPOntario If French is now important to you, does that mean Core French teachers can have a classroom where we can immerse students in a world of French with posters and charts and labelling, so we can actually effectively teach our subject?!?

@1goodtern As someone who is due in 6 weeks, this post is terrifying. I had COVID at 8 weeks pregnant when they lifted masks in school. This is making me want an induction in case my placenta is dying earlier...

@Mari19821 We don't have a pd day before going back this year. Our first is Sept 16. Last year I feel we had 3-4 before going back.
