I'm not perfect o but I've always been a standup guy. I've always been a provider since I was 15. Family, siblings, friends. Since 15. I don't need to learn provider energy.
I go out of my way to make everyone around me happy. As long as I'm around you, you go dey happy. Happy and satisfied.
But Nigerian men are telling me that:
Should a time come when I decide to get married, my happiness will depend solely on the happiness of my wife as per "happy wife, happy life".
That I shouldn't expect my wife to ever go out of her way to make me happy. To be happy, I have to perform above and beyond to make her happy, then she can make me happy. That if I don't conform to this mindset early enough, " I'm not ready".
That, this is my cross - and the more silently I endure, which keeps her happy means a happy home. When we're in that situation for decades, it is a happy marriage. ๐
God will punish Nigeria men o. GOD WILL PUNISH NIGERIAN MEN.
