27 years ago today, ECU beat #9 Miami FL 27 to 23. ECU was trailing 23 to 3 and went on a 24-0 run to get their 1st ever win over a top 10 team which earned the team the Disney's Wide World of Sports Spirit Award that season.

Based on how things are I’m seriously considering giving up season tix after 15+ years due to what this NIL/portal era is turning into. Hard to get to know the team with roster changes year in & year out.

@rbarkleyhockey Great trip down memory lane, but wasn’t the PP for the Staal go ahead goal in SCF G2 due to Torts challenging the goalie interference? Don’t recall them challenging Jankowski goal. It’s all a wonderful blur though, & I can be wrong.

@take_the_island It was one of the more fun games to be at in DFS in a while. All wins are fun, but the fact Memphis was a good team made it a solid conference win. Loved it when the dudes went tarps off in the Boneyard to build some momentum.
