1st order of business for Mattingly:
move Trea Turner to 2nd base so he can throw to 1st in time & move Stott to SS - Stott is a wayyy better SS than Turner
it's just a weird culture we live in..one influencer believes something so all their followers have to agree to look cool on their timeline, thus a new narrative gets created that over time becomes "facts" to newer generations
social media influencing is DANGEROUS
its alot of narratives been created.
i bet alot of people think Hov dropped alot of Vol 1 videos during the original album run and not from Streets is Watching the movie.
the continuous devaluation of Jay-Z's Vol. 2 on my timeline fascinates me..not a single person ever said Vol.1 > Vol.2 before social media.
NOT. A. SINGLE. PERSON.
watching Lean On Me and just came to the conclusion that I'd take prime Glory-Lean On Me-Unforgiven-Shawshank Morgan Freeman over any stretch of Denzel's career
not only forgetting how huge Vol 2 was, but also A HUGE portion of the Jay-Z fanbase started with Vol 2 & first heard Reasonable Doubt in 1998-99..i wish more people on here would be honest about their Jay-Z discovery point, most weren't around for RD in 1996
Probably closer to my own rankings more than most that I have seen, and I just want to say that it makes me happy to see that history has been kind to Vol. 2, one of my all-time favorites (for a while folks were forgetting how huge that album was, and it's many high points)
idk i think we might have a new leader of the Tuesday Night Fried Chicken War because KFC's $10 bucket with the Comeback sauce is >>> Popeye's 2pc Tuesday
and of course, the people who were actually supporting & have receipts will never get a pair but thats just how industry folk operate..the fake cater to the fake
i need to see receipts from everyone getting a pair of those 30th Reasonable Doubt AF1's with a letter from Jay-Z thanking them for "30 years of support"..i have reasonable doubt that a large number of people getting those didn't support the album in 1996, im calling bullshit
