2. Communal Harmony: Though a devout Hindu (devotee of Shiva), he built a Mosque inside the Jagdishpur Fort for his Muslim soldiers. His administration and army were a mix of Hindus and Muslims working for a common cause.
3. Strategic Mobility: He understood that the revolt couldn't survive in isolation. He marched out of Bihar to Rewa, Banda, Kanpur, Lucknow, and Azamgarh to build a coalition with Nana Saheb and the Gwalior troops.
