@thatgirlFunkky I agree that honest conversations matter. But emotional maturity also means knowing the difference between an issue that needs a conversation and one that simply needs self-reflection. Not every feeling should become a discussion.

That said, there's an important distinction. Hypervigilance isn't always irrational. Sometimes, it's trauma; other times, it's your intuition responding to genuine red flags. Wisdom is learning 2 tell the difference instead of treating every new relationship like the last one
@Ada_mamasita Your partner is not responsible for what your ex did. If they're consistently honest, transparent, and dependable, don't make them pay a debt they never owed. Heal, or you risk becoming the very source of pain you once complained about.
