And the times I was out work I educated myself to better myself and other the time it was during lock down.
I didn't choose this
I won't give up
I will get my family into our home.

Because myself and my wife sleeping in one bedroom with your twin 4 year olds and 11 year old is not right we only accept it because we're not sleeping on the street ๐.
I'm not a "spunger" like I was called by keyboard warriors I've worked since I was 15
I educated myself in a different career and bettered myself for my family, so has my wife.
Every day I have to face the fact I can't give the one thing my family deserve, is a home.
"how can they be in this situation" "why they have kids if they couldn't afford to" why I went back to college? I educated myself in a different career and bettered myself for my family, so has my wife.
4 years on since I was made homeless I've tried to make the one bedroom flat I live with my now 4 year old (soon 5 year old twins) and my older son nearly 12 a home. In the last 4 years I've gone through more mental strain than I ever have . Wen I first posted are situation
This was our situation we found ourselves this time last year. A year before government removed the eviction ban. This is what a family of 5 got. And this is how bad it was. We were told go to Garda station before this.
@MaryLouMcDonald#eviction
Over 3 years, it's starting to take it it's toll, I hate been in this situation.
I try to make the best of it but my family deserves more. I still have nightmares of the first day. I'm lucky here I tell myself but when ur family falling apart how can it be. #mentalhealthsupport
@Katie_McCabe11 Gutted for Our ladies they fought hard and I was proud to watch with my son. Go on and show the world what Irish football is made of โค ๐ฆ.
@ShaneBeattyNews I'd feel more safe in London than Dublin for simple fact you don't have walk far see police in London, you could walk from Parnell to Grafton St without seeing one, there's your problem.
@thejournal_ie Anywhere in Dublin can be dangerous if you meet the wrong people it's not where your from its how your brought up.Even in Castleknock you can face situations where you can be attacked
Like everyone I went through Covid,at the time the scariest, stressful time I ever had to experience. I never imagined I'd experience something worse, that is the last 15 months. I'm holding on but for how long ๐.#Homeless
5* hotel. Our homeless lucky or are they? Food has to be collect from another building and eaten in their rooms on their beds as they have no furniture in rooms only beds. Not allowed sit outside although huge grounds. Room checks by men in women's rooms hourly without knocking.
@Theresa00464403 Shocking their probably fed better in Mountjoy. And yes the homeless in Ireland are treated like prisoners. Majority of these people didn't choose this yet people treat them like scum, makes me sick. ๐
