DELTA STATE

There's something about Delta state that needs to be studied.

When Omo-Agege, ported to NDC, we didn't reserve our comments and worries, we called him out.

We listed his past ills and showed it to his face, tagging him and Dickson with our full chest.

What did Agege do, he went back home and started mobilizing, sensitizing, louding his promises of a changed man ready to serve.

We said, OK, let's see what you've got.

We immediately carried our sw0rds and kept in the cooler. He kept showing how ready he is to make it work in Delta state.

THE EFFECT
Yesterday, one of the effects of that boldness and readiness showed. The youths caught the vibes and rejected APC and bola even though they tried to hide and come through the corners.

That's what we expect in Rivers State.

I told Nigerians that APC and Tinubu will cause the next Nigeria civil war, but all I got was insults and curses from those who can't see what I'm seeing.

Tinubu and his supporters don't want to leave power. In fact, they will rig the next election not matter how obvious. If rigging is impossible they will anull the election. The technology for the rigging is already in place. Election results are already written. The speech to nullify the election is already drafted.

But this will have serious political consequences. If the election is rigged, the insecurity in the nation will escalate. Massive protest will be trigger, and anything can happen.

The world should call Tinubu and APC to order before we have another major crisis to manage.

Independence Is Meaningless Without Real Freedom

As we continue to reflect on Nigeria’s Independence, we must remember that independence means very little if citizens cannot freely express themselves, within the bounds of the law, without fear.

Reports that some Nigerians in Akwa Ibom were arrested simply for identifying with the Obidient Movement should worry every Nigerian who believes in democracy and freedom, especially when such identification is a constitutional right.

One of the greatest tragedies of our society is that people who once described themselves as freedom fighters can become defenders of oppression when they eventually occupy positions of authority. Those who once complained about injustice can become comfortable with injustice when it is being perpetrated against people they disagree with. That must not be the Nigeria we accept.

Our independence must ultimately mean freedom from fear, injustice, intolerance and abuse of power.

Nigeria must belong to all of us. -PO
