get a job they saidโฆ so I applied, passed the screening, made it into the technical testโฆ and now iโm sitting here like, do i even want this?
I just wanna do more CAD magic
been deep into Plasticity tutorials lately and realized... i haven't actually made anything in a while
so i picked something that looks simple โ just focusing on clean shapes and fewer mistakes,
happy enough with how it turned out :D
@im_crispy_ honestly, with your experience, that kind of model is 100% within reach. Plasticityโs learning curve isnโt too steep, just needs a little warm-up

@Vaughan3D --I just realized youโre the one behind the tutorials Iโve been learning from, really appreciate them, theyโve helped me a lot getting into plasticity, thanks again!
Added peripherals.. and no, iโm not micro-filleting everything unless it's necessary,
Itโs been 30 days since I started using Plasticity!
next: finish all the models or learn how to loft better
@KatDiedAgain btw, if I do the bevel thing in Marmoset, can I bring that into Substance Painter? or do I need to bake it first for the curvature and stuff to work?
@KatDiedAgain yeah! thatโs what Iโm aiming for, I used to just rely on the bevel modifier in Blender, but I just learned that you can also fake bevels in Marmoset.. still figuring it out though
