De'vonta' Roberts is a high-ceiling defensive back who pairs ideal size and athleticism with elite processing speed. His game is defined by tremendous anticipation; he consistently diagnoses concepts pre-snap, allowing him to trigger downhill instantly rather than reacting late. Post-snap, his motor is non-stop—he flies around the field with a relentless energy that puts him near the ball on virtually every down.

Physically, Roberts checks the boxes for a modern DB, but it is his "linebacker mentality" that separates him from the pack. He is a physical enforcer who arrives with bad intentions, constantly hunting for turnover opportunities. whether it’s executing a perfectly timed punch to jar the ball loose or jumping a route to secure an interception, Roberts has a knack for changing possession. His tape reveals a defender who doesn't just make tackles; he attacks the football.

Coming off a collegiate career where he lit up the stat sheet, Roberts has proven his production translates to impact play after impact play. Currently in heavy training for his Pro Day in March, he is refining his technique to ensure his preparation meets the moment. With a skill set that translates immediately to the pro game, Roberts is a priority target for CFL, UFL, and NFL decision-makers looking for a versatile playmaker.
