@Matt_Law_DT Garnacho will be a Villa Player for years to come, come on mate you know this. Waste of time article.

[Craig Goode @9oode]

@JUSTIN_AVFC_ Yorke away at Newcastle, 4-3 Loss I think?

[Craig Goode @9oode]

@CBarker81 @Alex_Berwick Similar to Rogers Pre-Villa and Watkins Pre-Emery. 👍

[Craig Goode @9oode]

@CBarker81 @Alex_Berwick Apart from their records at Previous Clubs and the fact those are the players Emery wanted.

Trust his judgement more than yours, no offence. 👍

[Craig Goode @9oode]

@CBarker81 @Alex_Berwick Essentially we have replaced those two with Jackson, Madjo, Manzambi, Mbaye, Garnacho, Hemmings and Alysson from what we had last season (not including Bailey). They have to share that load between them. And they will.

[Craig Goode @9oode]

@Alex_Berwick @CBarker81 Watkins was shite most of last season except towards the end and Rogers went missing most of the second half the season. Stop over thinking everything, trust in our Best Manager in decades to get it right, chill out and enjoy the ride. 💜💙

[Craig Goode @9oode]

Our best ever Goalkeeper IMO. 🙌

Thanks for the memories Emi.

[Aston Villa @AstonVilla]

Aston Villa can confirm that Emi Martínez has completed a permanent transfer to Chelsea.

Emi joined the club from Arsenal in 2020 and has been a commanding presence in goal throughout his time at the club, which culminated in him helping Villa win the UEFA Europa League in May.

He earned his first international caps while at Aston Villa, going on to win two Copa América titles and a FIFA World Cup with Argentina.

He was also twice named the world's number one goalkeeper, picking up successive Yashin Trophies in 2023 and 2024 as well as two The Best FIFA Football awards.

With his stellar performances and infectious competitive nature, Emi will always be remembered for his part in our recent journey and success and leaves Aston Villa with the very best wishes of everyone at the football club.

[Craig Goode @9oode]

@FreethTony 1 Million Per Cent he is, not even a debate.

[Craig Goode @9oode]

@KevHughesie Full strength and sign off at Villa Park with a feel good factor and hopefully CL secured ourselves. They’ll be fine by the Wednesday otherwise it’s too long a rest before the Final. #UTV 💜💙

[Craig Goode @9oode]

@NoelG818181 @VillanAmerican @GPlaza85 9 points out the last 30 available tho it’s ridiculous that we’re in this position.

[Craig Goode @9oode]

@NoelG818181 @VillanAmerican @GPlaza85 If we draw vs Liverpool and Bournemouth don’t win both games it’s done. A draw and win gives them 59 whereas we would be on 60.
