Liim’s new single “R.I.P Peace” arrives with a 900DKID-directed video that pays homage to Blood Orange’s “Champagne Coast” music video.

The visual draws on what @LiimLasalle describes as “quintessential landmarks from his neighborhood,” from ZOOT tags to the 125th Street station; the production draws on Lite Feet, the uptempo street dance genre that originated there.

“R.I.P Peace” opens a larger project recorded at Electric Lady Studios. Liim is currently touring with Freddie Gibbs and will appear at London’s All Points East festival this summer on a bill headlined by Tyler, The Creator.
