There apparently is supposed to be an "Artlist Help Center," but the "Contact Us" link that should open a form isn't working. I sent my refund request to [email protected] and got a reply saying:

"To protect your privacy and keep your account secure, it’s important to contact us through the Artlist Help Center. This provides a secure environment for sharing account details and helps us assist you more effectively."

The link in that email just leads right back to the dead end in their Help Center.

I really do hope this is not some elaborate scam where they tricked us into paying for a subscription under false pretenses and are now making it impossible to cancel and get a refund.

I bought a year of unlimited Seedance 2.5 on @Artlist_io for $500.

The unlimited part lasted one day, which is an unusually ambitious interpretation of annual.

Artlist explained that unlimited generations had caused performance issues. They offered extra credits or a full refund, presumably because a small pile of tokens is what infinity looks like after capacity planning.

I chose the refund.

My support ticket is now marked solved. The subscription is still active. The money has not returned. So everything has reached a peaceful resolution except the customer, the service, and the money.

I genuinely admire the efficiency. Most annual subscriptions need months to complete the full emotional arc. This one managed purchase, euphoria, betrayal, bargaining, and grief in roughly 24 hours.
