A common unchallenged bias between those who like / dislike Fodlan is that they always downplay the truth that SS especially proves, Byleth can and will care about Rhea as much as the rest. It was never just about finding answers like with Claude, it was concern for her wellbeing
The con of being a fan of Edelgard is seeing a subset of stans on here act a fool.
Fuck you mean Byleth is OOC on Silver Snow and has no reason to care for and like Rhea?
SS is the foundation, the first route made. They're SMILING for her safety here.
Hopes Byleth is only good in terms of highlighting their mercenary background, yet is super stagnant outside of their revenge path. Their actual growth is present in Houses strictly, meanwhile Engage is largely about the epilogue of their growth (or different scenarios in Heroes)
i cannot stand perfomative gooners
just blast your shit and move on like the rest of us, you're not a special little snowflake because you beat it to fuckin' donald duck bro
MIHARA: The Misunderstood Masochist (๐งต)
I felt compelled to make a thread about Mihara from Nikke because, while she is one of my favorite characters, and my personal pick for the best character development outside of the Counters, I so often see her mischaracterized for the sake of winning arguments, and my autism demands I do something about it.
Iโm not expecting to make a massive difference, but I want to get all the facts in one place so hopefully it can be used as a reference when this argument inevitably comes back. So I hope you enjoy this long-winded rant about Miharaโs character, more so her relationships with the Commander and her squadmate, Yuni.

I donโt think little boy grabbing a girls hand in a high stress situation is symbolic of sexual abuse, no
I think that a lot of you guys seem to believe that any example of a man/boy being slightly aggressive towards a woman/girl is inherently violent/abuse
I don't think this line criticizes trans ideology. Moreover, it highlights an aspect of people's experiences with Gender that is difficult to talk about. You can feel bad being your own gender without necessarily being trans, and those struggles are just as valid.
