Life is so private that you guys didn’t know that I low-key collected engagement ring… and low-key returned it to him.

I woke up one morning and decided that if I returned this ring, I won’t d!e and life will go on. Boom, I headed out to his office and returned it.

Why did I do that?

We were having an argument and it was getting , you know, the type like these two people are about to f!ght.
So I realized that the quarrel won’t take us anywhere, so I told him, “alright, if you feel you’re right and I’m wrong, no Wahala abeg. I’m tired of this argument, can we stop?”

This dude picked offense again, smashed his phone on the floor. I was shocked and I asked why.
He said my words were implying that he is wrong and man of the house is always right no matter the case.

So I asked him, “is that why you broke your phone?”
He replied, “Thank your God that I didn’t Smashed it on your head”.

What really caused this quarrel?

We both went out alone, and when we got there he saw his female friend sitting alone. He stood up from our chair and said “I’m coming” to me and headed towards her. Mind you, I found out the girl is his friend after he returned.
He just stood up and said “I’m coming”

Then I traced where he was going only to find out that it was a lady he went to greet.

You need to see how he giggled and hugged her, then after like ten minutes or more, he returned to our seat and said to me, “Hope you no miss me… na my friend jare”.

So I said, “is that all you have to say?

You left our seat and returned just to say hope you no miss me?”

I was still talking when this same lady walked towards us and this dude drew a chair and the next thing I heard was, “join us na”

This lady didn’t even greet me. I actually waved at her and she responded like a ghost touched her

A hangout that was supposed to be for just us turned to crowd with divided attention.

This dude wanted to order what we were gonna eat and he asked her first, then turned to me and said, “babe you go join eat the nkwobi abi?”

I said no, I want pepper soup, and he looked at me like I was supposed to say yes to his question.
I told him I wanted to go home and they should make it takeaway, and he said, “chop am here now, she wan eat her own here”.

I said no, I want it takeaway. Then again his face changed. The girl now said , “Eh me too, let it be takeaway, I will soon leave too”
