Just remembered now… Yesterday, July 9, marked 2 years since I found out I was Poz.

No grand emotions. Just a quiet heaviness and a quiet gratitude. I’ve changed, endured, adapted.

Still here. Still on treatment. Still fighting for softness in a life that got sharper. #PLHIV

But just recently, it turned really scaly, dryer, and even itchier.

I apply lotion — it helps a bit, but the relief doesn’t last. The itch comes back, and I can’t always resist scratching.

Anyone from the PLHIV community experiencing something like this? What helps?

Suspected ichthyosis (fish scale-like itchy skin). Anyone else experiencing this?

Even before I knew I was poz, I already felt persistent itchiness in this part of my legs.

When I got my diagnosis, I thought maybe it was one of the manifestations.

I take my Teldy (ART) every evening before my nightshift, no exact time—sometimes right before work, sometimes an hour earlier or 2 or 3 hrs late. On a few occasions, I forgot & took it the next morning, then got back on track. What does your body do when you miss meds? #PLHIV
