@misterminsoo Baffling to call it semi-fleshed out. Yeah, there are some moments that can stretch a little too thin or end up being grating (think there'd be some across 19 tracks), but how can the rawness not be seen as a faithful mark to the themes and feelings expressed?
Sounds crazy to me
@Seb_Anderssen The disagreement seems to come from our differences in evaluating his projection over the next ~2 yrs
I understand the club is hurtling towards financial hell - you're in a better position to explain the sale in that regard; my following of the club's activity has fallen greatly
@Seb_Anderssen I think it's worse than that because
1) the midfield is thin to the point where he can justify (or likely exceed) this fee in ~1-2 years
2) unless quality comes back in, they are now stuck with Lavia (under water), Enzo (impending exit), and Essugo (not nearly good enough)
@CelticsDale That presser was as exasperated he's ever sounded in 13 years. He was definitely pissed off, and rightly so.
The playoff exit and general underperformance for the contract + the time bomb resulting from not giving the extension (aka common sense) = the trade had to happen.
@alpacinogrunt Some of these people will also happily entertain Cam Johnson or Duncan Robinson or any similar (but less impactful and more flawed) player than him at 11m a year. All thanks to the team building constraints due to the supermax who wasn't worth it.
I'm happy Brad gets it at least
@alpacinogrunt Being the only considerable salary for matching purposes (outside of the big-money core) in all these idiots' mock trades ruined the discourse around Sam.
No tween hesi game so the hooper crowd isn't on his side too.
Just a shower of shit whenever people talk about trading him
@KuKhahil Welcome to the club brother. Some of us have been here for years.
Been dealing with 1A/1B talk ever since the media bet on Tatum and felt betrayed because he lost the Finals in '22 (also see: Joel Embiid)
@SkinsHoops86 For clarity's sake, a take foul (open field, virtually guaranteed 1v1 with the keeper) would likely result in a direct red card. Happened with Nathan Ngoy in Belgium vs Iran a couple weeks ago.
@SkinsHoops86 Haha, it's alright. I'm enjoying some of these questions! Love making all these little comparisons across all sorts of sports - the variety is part of why we love it!
@lissmx14 It's not even reading tea leaves or anything, but the moves he's made as GM over the years has informed an increasingly larger chance of JB being dealt. (And yes I know he fucked up bad with Giannis)
but the 1A/1B thing never disturbed me enough because I know that Brad knows.
@Zonal_Marking oh yes. The game vs Saudi Arabia was particularly impressive. Sprayed it with comfort even regarding the caveat of the game being relatively open in the second half.
@Zonal_Marking But mostly it bears testimony to how good the defence was in that game. Spain never looked wholly comfortable in most of their shot attempts. Janky and awkward for the most part.
Again, really happy for the opportunities he's been getting regardless. It's still a great WC story.
@Zonal_Marking There was the one good save that was high and central, but the rest was mostly either a save within range or the ball trickling into his area.
He's also got a more outward demeanour (which works, I don't think it's a bad thing) to reassure the backline or get the crowd going.
