“We are going to disgrace Anambra state governor; not only him, including all South East Governors so that tinubu will know that they don’t have any capacity here in the east.
tinubu will not have up to 100 votes in Anambra; reason because Soludo, his family and staff will vote for tinubu….”
— Man analyses Anambra and South East votes.
Last week, I met an old friend in Toronto who works as a welder and pipefitter on a new nuclear power plant project in Ontario, Canada.
He earns a base salary of $4,000 every two weeks, and with overtime, his earnings can reach as high as $12,000 monthly.
He also told me that the Canadian government now offers financial incentives to encourage people to learn skilled trades.
One thing is clear: Even as the world goes crazy over AI, skilled trades will never go out of demand.
The world will always need people who can build, install, repair, and maintain the infrastructure that keeps society running.
My waiting season will not be wasted. I will not mistake delay for abandonment or difficulty for the absence of God.
Even when the path feels uncertain and my footing is weak, I will trust the Lord to steady me upon the Rock. Where confusion clouds my heart, He will fill me with wisdom and peace.
His sustaining grace will carry me through every unseen battle, strengthen me as I wait, and remind me that I am never forgotten.
As He leads me through uncertainty, my life will become a living testimony of His faithfulness.
And after seasons when I could barely find the words to pray, He will renew my praise and place a new song of hope and victory in my mouth.
I finally understand what Machiavelli meant when he said, “Never play fair in a game where others cheat.”
It doesn’t mean become evil. It means stop being naive.
Stop bringing honesty to people who study manipulation, stop giving access to people who weaponize closeness, and stop expecting clean hands from people who already showed you they’ll throw dirt.
Sometimes wisdom is not revenge. Sometimes wisdom is learning the rules of the room before the room uses your goodness against you.
