@MRG1106@letterboxd But it’s not though. The first three movies had great action scenes. They really phoned it in this time. Even the stunt doubles aren’t believable all I could focus on was how a stunt guy gets up and shakes off and jumps around for 20 seconds waiting for John to finish him
@MRG1106@letterboxd Also while these movies aren’t about story, the movie’s story is really non existent. It just adds another member of the high tables agents and he’s the big bad sending dudes after John. John says like 25 words the whole movie
@MRG1106@letterboxd Huge reduction in quality for action scenes. Now instead of great choreography and showing the main character’ tactical and mechanical prowess in how he dispatches his enemies he just stands in the open with no cover while 20 guys shoot at him but he doesn’t get hit
