Hey, I got better seats for The Boyz concert in Dallas, so I'm WTS the ones I got. The tickets have VIP 2 benefits. They were 241.54 for each, but I'm willing to sell for 200. #dallas#THEBOYZ#TBZ
Army! Please see this message from Jenny Lawson, co-founder of Heroes for Children and share 🙏🏼
Please remove or edit any posts with the children’s names, in respect of the families wishes. We have all been deeply moved by this moment, but let’s also remember that these are very young children who are already battling scary things in their lives everyday. Let’s respect their privacy and not spread their names on social media.
I’ve deleted our posts that mention their names, but DallasTX_Army still invites you to walk with us on 9/26 to support this wonderful organization. All BTS ARMY registered team members will receive a special hat!
Also! If you still want to send tour merch to the children, please DM us and we will coordinate so that they are not overwhelmed with multiple packages arriving or get a bunch of duplicates. Their sizes are below and have no preference on what type of merch or members.
2 Adult M
2 Adult S
1 Child M (Can make an adult small work for official merch)
Thank you for understanding 💜 and they reiterate their extreme gratitude to army all over the world who’ve shown such love and kindness.
PATHETIC! The Grammys just deleted a reel from months ago after being exposed where they talked about the new Asian category and the globalization of Asian music, but the most ironic is they just ignored and omitted any mention of BTS, as if they had never existed—when it was precisely them who are true pioneers of that global expansion.
This isn’t just a casual omission: it’s erasing from the conversation the very artists who actually drove that change.
The Grammys continue to be exposed as fake and hypocritical! How ridiculous they are!
- Zeena Koda and Frankie Yaptinchay are who spoke in the video, and Zeena is the same person who talked about BTS a few days ago! Hypocrites!

kpop stans were claiming hybe was behind this new category but looks like it was kakao (SM & Starship) trying to get cheap grammy nominations for their artists
btw their groups have never charted on hot100 before 😭
Eu usei melodias do folk cantonês nessa música*. Eu usei instrumentos chineses. Eu a escrevi e produzi. Mas ela não está elegível a 'Pop Asiático' porque eu a cantei em inglês.
(...) Eu sou membro votante da Academia desde 2024, e fiquei chocada de ver que essa categoria foi aprovada sem antes ter tido uma conversa com a comunidade artística asiática fora dos Estados Unidos."
*A música é Star Potential, linkada nos comentários.
The core issue with this defense is that the Recording Academy designed a category that fundamentally contradicts the reality of global pop music, and blaming BTS for rejecting it shifts responsibility away from institutional flaws. Zeena Koda’s statement [“This wasn't a category for BTS at all. This was for artists that need more visibility and shine NOT decades deep pop superstars”] exposes a deeper systemic misunderstanding of how major platforms handle non-Western music. While Zeena Koda’s personal intentions to create visibility might have come from a well-meaning place, her defense completely misses the structural reality of how the Recording Academy operates. Expecting BTS or global music fans to quietly accept a flawed, exclusionary category just because "it's the first iteration" asks global artists to settle for crumbs while the Western elite keeps the whole cake.
Prestige Without Parity is Worthless
It is disheartening when the gatekeepers blame the artists for rejecting a deeply flawed compromise. True representation is not achieved by building a separate side stage and asking international artists to be grateful for it. If the 15,000 Grammy voters cannot be bothered to educate themselves on global music and judge Asian artists fairly in the main categories, then the institution is the problem, not the artists who walk away from it.
BTS did not withdraw because they don't care about visibility for Asian artists—they withdrew because they refuse to validate a category that treats Asian heritage as a structural handicap. They don't need a tokenized trophy to prove they are a formidable force; their sold-out stadium tours already proved it to the entire world.
The defense of this category completely ignores how systemic gatekeeping actually plays out in practice.
Zeena Koda, one of the individuals involved in establishing the new 'Best Asian Pop' category at the GRAMMYs acknowledges that the discussions did NOT account for the fact that some Asian countries speak English.
— One of the category's requirements is that the song must be performed in an Asian language.
The Recording Academy has started removing BTS’ GRAMMY performance videos from its website.
The move comes amid BTS’ decision to boycott the 2027 GRAMMY Awards after the Recording Academy introduced the Best Asian Pop Music Performance category, which the group criticized for defining music by region and language rather than artistic merit.
Whether these removals are connected to BTS’ decision or are simply coincidental, we can’t say. We’ll leave that for you to draw your own conclusions.
@kitteewhysker So I work at a Fox tv station (not this one, we’d never do this) and need to get out ahead of this for army not versed in tv news: this is NOT Fox News. It’s local affiliate in Lubbock TX KJTV. They are owned by @GrayMediaGTN that’s who you aim complaints at
