@joaniej0243 Oh me too, mother was obviously not comfortable, she was pulling her O2 mask off, thrashing in bed, crying. I said my mother would want you to give her everything you can to relieve her and I said she wants this to be over. DC’d oxygen, increased meds,she got comfort & peace.

her demise was acute, traumatic, and when the care provider suggested Hospice that told me ok, my mothers nightmare is coming to a fast end. Hospice can linger on and on, it was over in 4 days.
