@bbcelection Not just national politics at play for ex leader Mr Dignum. His local leadership on the A27 and the local plan are at the heart of this. Time for Tony to go!!
The AONB says about @GillianKeegan "At the moment she is quiet."in the article. Apart from a photo opportunity was the AONB only last year's focus for her?
Another damning response by @CPRESussex this time to the proposed Apuldram development and link road AL6 in the Chichester Local Plan. Recommending it is removed from the plan for so many valid reasons. Well done @CPRESussex@ChichesterDC take note. https://t.co/QRiZKmFBx8
@Nickburrell@LGCAwards#BABA27 Community group brought both sides of the community under one roof, working together amicably and sharing ideas for solutions. Thank you for all your hard work, when's the next one?
@AdrianGMoss@RichardStarne@chichesterharbo Won't DM prefer transparency in open discussions. Too many meetings have been held behind closed doors - DPIP. Were you not a member of this and agreed the local plan & passed it through to Cabinet and then to Full Council?
@A27Alliance Who is this mysterious A27 alliance, please can you clarify which parish councils and residents associations are members so we know who you are representing or is it a secret?
@AdrianGMoss@RichardStarne@chichesterharbo Glad to see you're on board. Was quite concerned that at Fishbourne PC meeting last Tuesday you passed on any comment when Fishbourne residents brought it up. And stated that it was of no consequence to them (précised).
@A27Alliance @CaroCobbo @nexum5me@goldsmithlouise@Chiobserver A veiled comment on the BaBa27 by any chance? Be clearer in your praise, WSCC under #Goldsmithlouise did just that & listened to the results from the workshops and CDC joined in too! Thank you to both Councils for looking to get- the best for Chichester's Community as a whole.
For Transparency -@A27Alliance name the Parish Councils, Residents Associations who are a part of your group! Are you Chichester Deserves Better rebranded?
@A27Alliance Who is this mysterious A27 alliance, please can you clarify which parish councils and residents associations are members so we know who you are representing or is it a secret?
@A27Alliance No I'll think you will find the feedback from Chichester Parish Councils who represent their parishioners, CDC and WSCC were all in a majority favour of a strategic northern route, hence why that is the preferred choice put forward to HE.
@chichesterharbo Are you aware of the Chichester Local Plan to develop site SA6 next to the AONB at Apuldram? The views of the Cathedral from the harbour risk being lost along with negative impacts on protective wildlife and increases in noise pollution from a link road. Worried!
@CaroCobbo @A27Alliance Here are some graphs for you compiled from data presented to WSCC by HE, comparing the upgrades offered, (and rejected for being unfit for purpose) alongside the 2 options removed at the request of the Goodwood estate
@A27Alliance@nexum5me @CaroCobbo As a "Northern" Alliance you have an ethical duty to make it clear you represent a community group but not the whole of BABA27. You are misleading people & we have concerns with your lack of transparency with regard to affiliated parish councils. Its the old CDB fake news again!
@nexum5me @CaroCobbo @A27Alliance Well put @nexum5me! HE's internal meeting notes stated that Option 2 was a short term fix! News Flash- 47% rejected this at the last consultation in 2016. The graphs are created from HE's 2016 consultation data before Options 4&5 were removed- FOIs make interesting reading!
@A27Alliance Road experts?! Re-read 4:7:3 & Fig. 4:3 in DfT report. Your AADT calculation should combine both East and West directions & your results would show exceeded capacity by more than 25% in the base year and by 2041 it will be over by 86%. Good Effort for misleading! #linkroad
