The difference between a meme stock and a serious stock is how much valuation depends on buying pressure. For an investment stock, selling 10% or 20% wouldn't change the price much; it competes with the broader market on expected returns.
A meme stock behaves more like a product: price follows supply and demand. If buyers spend $100B on 5%, offering 20% won't quadruple demand; maybe it rises to $200B, cutting the share price roughly in half.

@LudwigNverMises He hardly controls the ministers of his own party, and not at all any of the bureaucracy (which is strong). I would put him at "controls 0.5% of Israel."
@skdh Regarding bandwidth limitations- it's not gaming/streaming. The bandwidth needed is very low (think kb for some text, mb for a few images). Even have 10 seconds wait for upload/download. It doesn't matter when the calculations takes many minutes.
@accelerate27@Rothmus Ok. I went into a rabbit hole. The chart is garbage, and so is their "projected" methodology, but the numbers are close enough for the message behind it (ends up being ~2%).
As I said, the bad math angers me most.
@accelerate27@Rothmus If 2 out of 1000 are murderers in 10 y group its not each person have 2 in 1000 yo murder every year (it would cause the group as a whole to be 2 in 100 not 2 in 1000).
@accelerate27@Rothmus They can become a murderer at n+1, when some enter and some leave this age bracket. It's not yearly because it can't be yearly, because there aren't enough murders for it to be yearly (put aside reading comprehension).
@accelerate27@Rothmus The explorer link is broken, & maybe I'm wrong. But in the shared image we see-
It says murderers, not yearly murders.
If *all* murders were committed by the black population, each murder by a *new* murderer, the absolute limit would be 4% (22k total murders/y : 550k growth)
@PhDStrawMan@Rothmus People reading 1+1=5 and are amazed at how crazy it is...
"All = 64 out of 100k"
The worst you could go is take the bighest of the age groups's number, and reach
2 out of 1000. Which is a lot, but not this nonsense.
Honestly, I'm more mad about the butchered math than the racism.
@accelerate27@Rothmus That's because it's nonsense. Read what he posted. 64 out of 100k for all ages together are murderers. A lot, but the jump to projrcted is BS. Projected over what lifetime? You already have "all." It makes no mathematical sense.
