After almost 30 years in education today is my last day. Thank you WBSD and BHS and a special thank you to all of my former students for making the last three decades truly amazing❤️. I leave with friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
"Life is all about habits and choices and decisions.
When you have the right habits, you tend to make better decisions and choices.
It's going to go a long way in determining what kind of person you are and how successful you are."
“Kids don’t want things to be easier. They want structure, clear routines, clear expectations, and consistent follow-through. But, structure without relationship is just control. High standards only work when we pair them with high support. Demand more. Teach more. Care more.”
“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life…Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.”-Steve Jobs
Curt Cignetti shares a universal truth about habits and consequences.
"In life - you got freedom of choice, but not freedom of consequence."
"First you form your habits, then your habits form you."
Every choice and action you take compounds. The small decisions you make daily - preparation, work ethic, and how you respond - those become your habits.
And over time, those habits become your identity.
You're free to choose. But the consequences of those choices aren't optional.
Your habits are shaping who you become.
