It’s also easy to see an opportunity to mistake signalling solidarity with a marginalised group for genuine empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by said group. I admire many of the women featured in the book, but hard to ignore their lack of curiosity.

Nothing aggressive or ‘wrecking’ about raising concerns in public. A ‘worthy project’ for who? Yet to see any beneficiaries of the project other than one. Plenty of criminalised (& not) women attacked and defamed by the View though.

But rather grim to joke that that police might disbelieve a complainant because of their criminal record, and the alleged harasser’s unblemished one. Which happens frequently to criminalised/mentally ill women. Play the ball.
