If you start playing Celtic Symphony at 11.58.06 on New Year's Eve, the first Ooh Aah Up The Ra will play exactly at midnight. Start your year off right.
Hahahaha keep the place empty. That’s fucking farcical, they’ll be looking for another £35 in August for UCL play off and possibly another £220 on top of that if we qualify. Shove it right up your hole
🚨 Season ticket holders will be offered a two-match package for Middlesbrough and AC Milan friendlies next month. Adult tickets will cost £35, concessions £25, and under-13s £15. Single match tickets are £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £10 u13s. https://t.co/5LcedfhYHo
Over recent days, we have highlighted a series of assurances given to Celtic fans by the Club. To date, none have materialised.
Perhaps the most significant is the long-promised refresh of the Board, repeatedly referenced by the Chairman and most recently reaffirmed in April.
Two months ago, Brian Wilson confirmed the Club were on the verge of appointing a new Head of Fan Engagement. There has been no further update.
Any new fan engagement model is worthless without consultation with supporters.
When will Celtic speak to fans about their plans?
🚨 Celtic backroom staff update
Shaun Maloney and Mark Fotheringham are now expected to agree deals to stay with Martin O’Neill. (@davidfriel81)
A big boost before pre-season, although Gavin Strachan is set to leave for West Brom.
Finally, some movement behind the scenes.
We are awaiting confirmation of Martin O’Neill’s backroom staff. There is nobody overseeing recruitment, key players are set to leave and we face the biggest rebuild in years.
Lost amid Ross Desmond’s attack on Celtic supporters at November’s AGM was a series of commitments he made on behalf of his father. Shareholders were told the Club would improve recruitment, invest in analytics and upgrade the stadium and facilities.
In February, Brian Wilson acknowledged that communication with fans needed to improve and said progress would be be made within weeks.
Following an initial meeting, he committed to a follow-up discussion on fan engagement.
He reneged on that commitment.
By the way, that’s why we didn’t want Derek McInnes: Rangers imploding, ref giving them everything, totally dominant and they STILL can’t beat us.
Guy’s a fucking loser.
When Russia hosted the World Cup in 2018, it had to suspend normal visa rules for the tournament. Foreigners with tickets could enter visa-free, using a scheme called ‘Fan ID.’
Russia also had to do weird stuff to keep FIFA’s sponsors happy. For example, small shops near Fan Zones and stadiums could only sell Budweiser beer on match days.
So yes, FIFA absolutely does dictate conditions to host governments when it suits FIFA. Infantino pretending otherwise is nonsense.
