Well, it looks like recurrent airplay may not be applied to year-end chart data if Billboard says that the parameters used will be the same as before.

As for year-end Billboard airplay charts, recurrent airplay will now count towards the charts.

Prior to the data switch, recurrent airplay didn’t count towards year-end airplay charts on Billboard.

Starting on next week’s Billboard airplay charts (chart dated November 12th), spin & audience data will start to come from Mediabase as it eliminates the Nielsen/BDS chart platform which currently serves as the data source for Billboard airplay charts.
