Okay, I need @torquetestchan to test https://t.co/yqYZxQTDZq as a follow up to those other horns claiming literally earth-shattering numbers. This one's a bit more reasonable at ~130dB for the quad setup. Fits many brands. Convert the ugga-duggas to toot-toots!
Also, the 'extra grabby feature' that eluded you was the feature of the design that requires *only* pressure on the top handle, meaning you don't need grip strength to increase holding -- just reef on the top handle with muscle and/or body weight. More torque = more grip.
@donttrythis If you liked Knipex's tiny little Cobras, try their standard sized 180mm ones (PN 87xx180) and the partner-in-crime pliers wrench (PN 86). You'll never go back to channel locks or crescent wrenches. Add the slip-joints (PN 82xx220) for a 'Holy Trinity' of gription.
@123Toid Oof, the measurements not being there is disappointing to hear, considering how much you seem to like the drivers -- you'd think they'd match better. Ah well, I'm sure whatever you cook up next will be fun regardless.
@123Toid PE listed the Epique PR's -- Epique Voxel? Budget tweeter TMMs? A 'cut down' TM version? KABD cascaded 2.5 way? I'd love to see a matching RMTMR center channel with front-facing 5.5" Radiators for HT application. TL;DR I've been holding out for a good DIY HT front set.
Hey @DragonsteelBook, @ZacksJerryRig has put out an ask for book donations destined for a library in Kenya that they are financing the construction of. Details: https://t.co/rfAgnAhSjP
I hear you like to send books to places that need books, thought you might be interested.
@LinusTech Project Farm is basically the gold standard for YouTube tool testing, and he just dropped a video on ratcheting screwdrivers that includes LTT's offering: https://t.co/A5r0iOJKsH
Hey @LinusTech, any ETA on when you might be getting another batch of workshop jackets in? Missed out on the initial batch, want one before fall hits my unheated garage shop.
@DanielBGreene Hey, thanks for inviting me/us into your office/brain via YT. Because of you I read Sando beyond Mistborn, all of WoT, and Green Bone Saga. On your rec, Bloodsworn 1 is next after I finish Harrow the Ninth.
My life is immeasurably better as a result; I cannot thank you enough.
@BrandSanderson You bastard. You absolutely beautiful bastard. (Or, as young Wayne might say, regular old turd?)
While I still have a dream getting RAFO'd at a signing in my area, I'm glad this change has brought you so much evident happiness.
Just started MoL; breathtaking. Endless thanks.
@JayzTwoCents If the motherboard manufacturer has done due diligence, the SN may get populated by WMI in Windows. Powershell command 'Get-CIMInstance win32_baseboard' may list it. Maybe check BIOS? So you don't have to try and read it off the board if you tossed the box.
@DanielBGreene Oh, also, favorite episode 6 Easter Egg -- in the scene in Siuan Sanche's quarters with Moiraine, Egwene, and Nynaeve, she has the ter'angreal door on her wall to match the one in Moiraine's quarters.
@DanielBGreene Thanks for the continuing deep dive on WoT. Agree Oath Rod/trial felt a bit forced, but note she swore the oath to Siuan Sanche *specifically* not the Amyrlin Seat (the throne, or the person), so I give them points for that at least.
Hey @AlexTheGreatish I think the guy in this video could make use of somebody with an entire warehouse full of CNC machines, who works for a guy with an investment in Framework https://t.co/AHd6qGWvgk
100% everything to love about Framework being in the market space.
Hey @DanielBGreene, thanks for getting me into WoT after binging Stormlight Archive and finding your videos. As thanks, here's a joke:
How do Sisters of the Blue Ajah contact their informants? They send a message on their aesPhone.
I'll... I'll see myself out.
