One of the best things I noticed about tonight’s dinner raising money for @AAFV1984 was the political diversity. Politicians put aside differences to raise money for this great organization. This group works so hard to protect our victims. We are grateful to have them back.

It's been one year since I walked out the front door and handed in my keys to the shelter, with a broken heart that more couldn't be done to save the @AAFV. I am so happy that it will be reopening its doors in the near future!
