Jean Faut's two South Bend Blue Sox perfectos were July 21, 1951 at home against the Rockford Peaches and Sept. 3, 1953 against the Lassies in Kalamazoo. She also had no-hitters in '48 and '49. RIP

It is with a heavy heart to report that #AAGPBL star pitcher Jean Faut, passed away this morning. She was 98 years old. Jean was a 2x Player of the Year, 4x All-Star, and the only pro pitcher (either male or female) to toss two perfect games in a career.
Was a pleasure to watch and chat with the amazing talents of AGB players, and speak with a pioneer for women's baseball, Sue Zipay. Check out what's brewing for women's baseball ⬇️

Today's @NewYorker has a lovely obituary for @AAGPBL pitcher Maxine Kline Randall by @SusanOrlean. Seeing reporting on the league in that iconic font is an extra thrill! Love the art, too. @LeagueonPrime@WillWGraham https://t.co/EL9fTnhAVp
If you're a baseball fan in the Southwest Florida area, definitely come and check out @AAGPBL this weekend and early next week at Ed Smith Staidum in Sarasota. Amazing talent from all around and do you see these sweet throwback jerseys?

#ICYMI: Definitely one of the coolest people I've ever interviewed! ⚾️
Wilma Briggs played baseball in the @AAGPBL during WWII. She ranks second in career home runs!
She says her love for the game began on an old family farm in East Greenwich. 😊⬇️
A photo of the Minneapolis Millerettes (1944) hangs in the halls of Target Field. Snapped a photo of it on the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League night at the ballpark.
