Another piece in the work the students did this year: Students help shape rural 20-minute neighbourhoods | University of Dundee https://t.co/anpk73KNuE
It was an inspiring collaboration and I’m so proud of what the students produced. It’s a good start for what we need to address in the next Angus LDP. I’m also looking forward to seeing what the students do in their careers going forward. @AngusCouncil@jill_paterson1
@smilingurbanist Profit, capitalism, greed and a lot of other things will stop us averting significant climate change and avoiding going past 1.5 Celsius and probably 3.5 Celsius which will be catastrophic for everything on this planet. Is telling that climate change never ever makes the news.
We are at the launch of the new Tay Cities Clean Growth website where we've heard from Gillian Martin MSP Minister for Energy. A great way to showcase the projects being developed across the Tay Cities Region that are driving clean growth.

@DJCAD The Planning Skills workshop, hosted by the @HeadsofPlanning organisation, will see the students and their tutor, @husamalwaer, share the results of their ongoing work with @anguscouncil that will help inform the next Angus Local Development Plan
MSc Spatial Planning students @DJCAD will today present their research into how 20-minute neighbourhoods can be created in rural settings to an audience of practitioners, policy makers and local authority representatives.

It was really inspiring to see the final presentations from the students on their work looking at a lot of key NPF 4 themes and how a 20 min neighbourhood concept could be taken forward in our next LDP.
Enjoyable visit to the urban planning museum in Singapore today. Inspiring to see their vision and what they have done. The main take away is that they plan on having more trees than people. That’s something we need to aim to follow in Scotland to meet our climate change duties.
Always love walking around Singapore. A place designed for people and nature. Green spaces everywhere centred around high density and one of the best public transport systems in the world. You really wonder why we can’t do the same in the UK.
Great opportunity for someone about to graduate this year or a recent graduate to join our development management team and work in Angus. See info below.
