Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has just arrived at Ministry of Agric for the flagoff and official presentation of input and asset for thousands of farmers across the 16 LGA under the FADAMA-NG CARES 2.0 intervention.

Not only agric produce, production materials like water pump, power tiler, grinding machine, sprayer, among others.

The initiative targets indigent crop and livestock farmers to boost agricultural productivity, food security, and economic recovery.

This is a pointer that Nigeria is not and cannot be insulated from the Global Economic Challenges, occasioned by the US vs Iran war.

Yesterday, I joined sons and daughters of Offa for the Annual Maulid Nabiyy celebration organised by the Chief Imam of Offa, Sheikh Muyideen Hussein. The Olofa of Offa, His Royal Majesty Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II, was also present at the event.

I was pleased to hear the Chief Imam testify to our administration's track record of service and impactful projects in the community. It is a motivation to do more.

At the event, I donated the sum of N50m to support the under-construction hospital project of the Chief Imam, which is a beautiful initiative to deepen access to quality healthcare in the community. I also offered N200,000 scholarship each to 50 students of the Arabic Institution of the Chief Imam.

I thank HRM Olofa of Offa and the people of Offa for their warm reception, as well as their undying love and support for our government.

Earlier on Friday evening, I joined the respected Khalifatul Adabiyyah Sheikh Mustapha Kamaludeen HabeebuLlah Al-Adabiy, notable scholars, students, and congregants for the weekly usrah of the Ansarul Islam founded by our late father, Sheikh Muhammad Habeebullah Kamaludeen Al-Adabiy. It was a proud moment to again pay my respect to this important community whose centenary was recently celebrated in Ilorin.

FLASH: Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has made a personal donation of N50m to support the ongoing construction of Taju-l-Adabiy Hospital in Offa.

An initiative led by the Chief Imam of Offa Sheikh Muhydeen Salman Hussein, the hospital is targeted at complementing the efforts of the government to deepen access to healthcare for indigents in Offa community.

AbdulRazaq also offered an educational grant of N200,000 to 50 indigent students of the Darul Ulum Aladabiy Alkamaliy School, owned by Imam Offa, to aid the pursuit of their education.

Total donation was N60 million.

Olofa of Offa, His Royal Majesty Muftau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II, thanked the Governor for his commitment to the growth and development of Offa LGA.

Led in prayers by several clerics, the crowd constantly cheered and sang chants of 'Sardauna de' in appreciation of the Governor's gesture at the event.

• Reposes confidence in AbdulRazaq to deliver Kwara

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq @RealAARahman has come up for a fresh honour on the national political scene as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT singled him out in his speech at the inauguration of All Progressives Congress (@OfficialAPCNg) presidential campaign council on Wednesday.

The president hailed him by his new traditional title, Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate.

Tinubu had begun his speech with recognition of top national leaders in attendance.

Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yiltwada @nentawe1, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma @Hope_Uzodimma1 were part of the roll call.

When he got to AbdulRazaq's turn, Tinubu serenaded him as Sardauna, saying the title was a great honour.

"Chairman of the Governors' Forum, Sardauna of Ilorin, congratulations," the president enthused amidst loud cheers from the crowd.

"We have not been together since they have honoured you with that great title."

Tinubu, who is also the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming polls seeking re-election, expressed confidence in the ability of AbdulRazaq to deliver Kwara for the party.

"I hope you must deliver Kwara intact."

The president's remarks were interspered by loud cheers and applause for the Governor by the crowd.

AbdulRazaq was bestowed with the traditional honour by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, a monarch President Tinubu has tremendous respect for.

Tinubu has just recently appointed AbdulRazaq as Deputy National Coordinator of the presidential campaign council as well as campaign coordinator in the state.

Since 2019, APC has won all elective positions in Kwara State, with AbdulRazaq being a key figure in these victories, both as gubernatorial candidate in the first cycle, and an incumbent seeking re-election in the second cycle.

The Governor is entrusted to work with other stakeholders to broaden engagement and mobilization of electorates to repeat the feat in the coming elections.
